The Real Ride - An all inclusive celebrity guided motorcycle tour and Ride Across America from New York to San Diego, California.

It took me awhile to figure it out.  The process to my revelation has been long, expensive, and at times, extremely tiring.  It started with a mini-bike and a Toro lawnmower engine.  It progressed through dirt bikes, metric street bikes, leaky Hogs and unrideable choppers.  It took rain, wind and snow to harden my blood, hard concrete to etch the lines on my face.  The four feet of snow in my driveway was the last straw….  Then it dawned on me.  My revelation.

It's not the motorcycle we cherish, it's “The Challenge”.

“The Challenge” of meeting new people.  “The Challenge” of finding new roads to ride.  “The Challenge” of pushing the limit and dealing with the variables living life on the road throws us.  “The Challenge” of doing something you’ve never done before.  The actual motorcycle is merely the means used to find that almost spiritual oneness with your environment.  It's the journey, the interaction with others, the heartbreak and the excitement that is measurable, not the bike.

That’s what the “The Real Ride” is about.  We’re going to ride 3,400 miles in 15 days, taking in riding memories from New York to California.  Memories with celebrity riders, memories of Sturgis 2008, the journey, the friendships…. 

You can choose to ride 3,400 miles from New York to California with us, or you can register to ride any of the segments of the ride.  The "All-Inclusive Ride Across America" package includes a 2008 Harley-Davidson^® touring model motorcycle rental* and all hotel, fuel and road support costs.  In the "Ride Across America Segments" package, you can register to ride on your motorcycle** and participate in any of the individual segments of the Ride Across America.  Maybe the segment you're interested in is the celebrity guided motorcycle tour of America's Mother Road - Route 66?  Whichever you choose, wherever you choose, you won't be disappointed.
